If you need advanced exports, live collaboration, MCP access, and watermark-free files, upgrade to Professional for a one-time purchase. Add standalone generation credits to either plan when you want to create maps from documents or through an MCP integration. Each new MCP map uses 1 generation credit; editing an existing map through MCP does not.
The map editor

Give concepts labels, descriptions, icons, importance, and supporting resources. Give every connection a direction and a reason, not just a line between two points.

Source-assisted analysis
Upload a PDF, Word document, Markdown file, or another supported format, and KnowMapped will analyze the material holistically to extract core concepts and map how they relate. The result is an editable structural draft—not a locked-in answer.
Supported formats include PDF, DOCX, ODT, EPUB, PPTX, RTF, TXT, Markdown, and HTML. A single generation supports up to 120,000 processed words; particularly complex or dense documents may need to be split into smaller sections.
