KnowMapped supports two distinct workflows. MCP gives compatible AI clients permission-aware access to mapping tools and map data. Web publishing makes selected maps available as live, interactive views without exposing the editing workspace.

Model Context Protocol

Connect KnowMapped to compatible AI clients through MCP. The client can search your maps, retrieve graph context, create new maps, and make validated changes to concepts, relationships, metadata, and layout.

This makes the map part of the AI workflow itself. A long research conversation can become a new map. Meeting notes can be organized into decisions, dependencies, and open questions. An existing map can be extended or corrected without rebuilding it by hand.

MCP is available to Professional users. Creating a new map through MCP uses one generation credit. Editing an existing map does not use credits.

Web publishing

Interactive map embeds

Publish a public KnowMapped map inside an article, course, report, or website. Readers can inspect the actual map rather than a screenshot, while editing remains in KnowMapped.

Because the embed reads from the source map, later changes can appear wherever that map is published. There is no need to export a new image or replace embed code each time the map changes.

Keep the knowledge structure intact.

A map created or edited through an AI client remains a KnowMapped map. The same map can later be revised in the workspace, shared with collaborators, or published as an interactive view. The integrations change how people work with the map, while KnowMapped retains the underlying graph and its access controls.
