Generation credits let KnowMapped analyze supported source material and create an editable starting map. One credit covers up to 7,500 words. For longer material, the credit cost increases with length and is shown before you begin.

100 generation credits included with Professional

Professional includes 100 generation credits. Free and Professional users can add another 100 credits for $10 when their available balance falls below 100. This helps avoid accidental stockpiling; eligibility is shown before checkout opens.

Generation credits can be used for AI-assisted map creation. Maps created through MCP integrations (Professional only) also use generation credits. Each new map created through MCP uses 1 credit; reading or editing an existing map through MCP does not use credits. Manual map creation, editing, viewing, sharing, and importing completed maps do not use generation credits.
